Award-winning songstress Macy Gray and syndicated radio personality Tom Joyner each made news in the hot L.A. real estate market recently when she put her $4.6 million manse on the market and he dropped an estimated $5.4 million for hot new digs.

The Hot Property section of the Los Angeles Times reported that Gray's home in Encino was built in 1998 and has 10,000 square feet on about an acre. The home has seven bedrooms, nine-and-a half baths, a pool, spa, basketball court and a guest house.

Gray, also a songwriter and actress, purchased the home in 2002.

The mother of three is a Grammy Award winner and plays a female pimp in the recently released film Shadow Boxerwith Cuba Gooding Jr. and Helen Mirren, the paper reported.

Joyner and his wife, fitness expert Donna Richardson Joyner, will reside in a mid-century modern Beverly Hills home that has four bedrooms and four baths in 4,000 square feet.

It has city-to-ocean views, a pool, fire pit, a wine cellar and a media room, the paper reported.

Richardson Joyner, who was recently appointed by President Bush to the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, gained national acclaim with the release of her Sweating in the Spirit fitness video.

Joyner hosts the popular syndicated "The Tom Joyner Morning" Show."
