| Jet - Shaq shoots to win with real estate projects Miami Heat All-Star Shaquille O'Neal recently launched the O'Neal Group, a real estate and development company. The firm has aligned with Miami-based MDM Development for its first endeavor-a $1 billion project to build more than 1,100 residential units in Metropolitan Miami (The Met). The downtown complex will include an 866-foot building--the tallest residential tower south of New York-an office tower, luxury hotel, entertainment complex, and a fitness facility. The NBA champ said creating the O'Neal Group formalizes his interest in real estate. O'Neal described his portfolio as already reaching more than $50 million in residential and commercial property.
